I know that everything in the paranormal is a theory and nothing can actually be proven. Last night I was watching Ghost Hunters (I know, I know I'm a hypocrite but I was bored out of my ever loving mind)! I started thinking about the whole battery drain theory. I'm just curious how an entity may be able to drain the energy from a battery??? Something has to complete the circuit for the battery to have any kind of charge, right?? Assuming they draw energy from the item itself once the circuit is complete why draw only from an object that uses a battery as it's power source?? Why not anything electrical?

From what I understand the battery will not drain if it stands on it's own.It has to be in use. What happened with ghost hunters was that the temp was too cold and the batteries died.I'm going to have to look into it more but the emf thing and the battery may have something to do with it,ex. electro magnet.I understand that the "why use a battery operated device for a charge thing".If they were to draw off of something that was plugged into a socket you'd never be able to tell because the house electric is a constant source unlike a battery. Also,if you are going to use the word stupid you have to learn the new and improved E.V.P.S. spelling of the word!Stoopid!Just like buhl shit!LOL.

LOL
I understand the difference with the battery/socket, now. So when a ghost draws energy from something that's why an unexplained EMF spike can be measured sometimes. I don't feel so stoopid now...lol
